more about Hundertwasser - permanent exhibition at Uelzen
2022-12-15

Since the beginning of this millennium, Uelzen has got one of the most famous train stations in Germany. For the EXPO 2000 world exhibition, Hundertwasser redesigned the widely neglected railway station into a forward-looking environmental and cultural station.

Two decades later, an admission-free permanent exhibition provides an insight into Hundertwasser's work as an artist, "architecture doctor" and environmental activist. From December 15, 2022, original graphics, as well as original posters, art prints and architectural photographs can be seen in the art room of Uelzen station.

Hundertwasser lives on in his works, his architecture, his philosophy - and each day thousands of people experience his message of beauty in harmony with nature.
